🔍 We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative with a passion for software and technology. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our clients in the software and technology sector. You will also work closely with our product development team to understand their needs and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify potential customers and generate leads through various means such as cold calling, networking events, and social media outreach.
Schedule appointments with clients and present our products and services in a professional and engaging manner.
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at software and technology companies.
Collaborate with the product development team to understand customer needs and provide feedback on potential new product ideas.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients as needed.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activity, and forecasts in our CRM system.
Participate in trade shows, industry events, and other marketing initiatives to promote our brand and products.
Collaborate with the sales team on strategies for increasing sales and expanding our customer base.
Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape in the software and technology sector.
Continuously strive to improve personal performance through ongoing training, education, and professional development opportunities.
Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the software and technology sector.
Strong understanding of the sales process, including prospecting, qualifying, closing, and account management.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales methodologies (e.g., Solution Selling, SPIN Selling).
Knowledge of the software and technology industry, including trends, competitors, and market dynamics.
Self-motivated and results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and conferences.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
